MASH (formerly NASH) Prescreening — No-Cost FibroScan® by Echosens.
Paragon RX Clinical is launching a prescreening program to identify adults at risk for MASH (metabolic dysfunction–associated steatohepatitis, formerly “NASH”). We use FibroScan® (Echosens)—a quick, painless, non-invasive scan that measures liver stiffness and fat in about 10–15 minutes. This test typically costs up to $300 but we’re offering it at no cost as part of our research prescreening. No needles. No radiation. No insurance required.
Who should consider screening?
You may be at higher risk for MASH if you have any of the following:
- Type 2 diabetes or prediabetes
- Overweight/obesity or increased waist circumference
- High triglycerides or cholesterol / metabolic syndrome
- High blood pressure
- Fatty liver noted on prior labs or imaging
- Sleep apnea
What to expect
- Brief eligibility check and informed consent for prescreening
- A same-day FibroScan® with on-site results discussion
- If eligible, you may be invited to consider upcoming MASH clinical studies (participation is voluntary and coordinated with your regular care)
